Dark, smooth, no bitterness at all, and I make it strong. I normally buy whole bean, but the grind on this is perfect for use in my French Press coffee maker. I, too, was skeptical about ordering this coffee, but the Amazon price was too good to not try it. What an excellent surprise.
Fantastic with dinner but we also brew for breakfast. We've tried all kinds of brands - exotic and common - and this is the best. Great, strong flavor that's good anytime during the day.
I didn't expect much of it, but it was so daringly rich with a nice lingering after taste and made me drink way too much. A small package came as a stocking stuffer.
It is DARK, rich, and bold. Best of all, it doesn't leave a harsh aftertaste like so many dark roasts do. I love strong coffee but was skeptical that Jack Daniels could produce a quality coffee blend. It'll knock your socks off. This coffee has rapidly become my favorite. I was wrong. The Tennessee Mountain Blend coffee is some of the best coffee I've ever tasted.
I think I know what I'm getting her for christmas. My sister is a coffee lover so I purchased two brands. Not only did this one win, she says it's one of the best she has ever had.
